Uncover all the scenic delights above and below the surface during this exciting combo package. Make some new marine friends as you swim amongst wild dolphins and seals in Port Phillip Bay, and work on your surfing skills at a pristine beach along the Great Ocean Road.
Witness the best of both worlds, from the wonder-filled underwater realm of Port Phillip Bay to the magnificent beaches along the Great Ocean Road during this combo package. Have your flippers at the ready and begin your 3.5 hour journey from Queenscliff, cruising to the southern regions of Port Phillip Bay, ripe with biodiversity and unique marine life. Brush up your snorkelling skills at Popes Eye, boasting an array of kaleidoscopic fish and marine life before heading to Chinaman's Hat, a temporary home for up to 40 young Australian fur seals, waiting to have a play. The fun doesn't stop there as you set off in search for dolphins, who are usually not too far away. The vessel is equipped with a rooftop viewing platform which gives you a great view of the seals and dolphins as they dart around the vessel, as well as mermaid lines and an extending hammock net to laze in.
You'll also get to enjoy a two hour surfing lesson at beaches from Queenscliff right down the Great Ocean Road to Lorne, depending on the conditions of the day. Beach safety including how to choose the best place to surf and identifying a rip are a main focus, as well as all the tips and tricks to get you riding your first wave. It's an easy to follow and hands-on surfing experience with friendly and professional coaches.
Please note, the surf lesson requires a minimum of three participants to proceed. If the number required for the booking to go ahead is not reached, the lesson will need to be rescheduled.
