Learn to create some gorgeously plump Chinese dumplings at home during this interactive online class! After you've studied the recipe and bought the necessary ingredients and equipment, tune into a live Zoom session with an expert chef. They'll teach you that the best dumplings are made up of a thin dough shell with a mixture of seasoned meat and chopped veggies. Over the class, you'll learn how to roll dough, make fillings and fold your dumplings into the perfect shape like a dumpling ninja. Once they're cooked and ready, grab a pair of chopsticks and devour your creations. It's fun, interactive and delicious!

What to bring:

  • DOUGH: 160g bread flour + 80g boiling water
  • FILLINGS: 180g pork mince + 1 leaf of wombok (Chinese cabbage), chopped finely (can use 1 cup chopped cabbage + 1 baby king oyster mushroom, minced or button mushroom + 1 spring onion, minced + 1 clove of garlic, minced + 1 clove of ginger, minced
  • SEASONING: 2 tsp soy sauce + 1 tsp Shaoxing (Chinese rice wine) + 1 tsp vegetable oil + quarter tsp sesame oil + quarter tsp salt + quarter tsp sugar
  • DIPPING SAUCE: 1 tbsp soy + 1 tbsp black vinegar or just any vinegar + few drops of chilli oil
  • Oil to spray for the steamers
