Do you love Duck but don't know where to begin your Duck cooking journey? This cooking class will take the mystery out of cooking duck for you! See how easy it is to cook duck in many different ways, as well as some sauces and accompaniments. With the teaching of knife techniques to assist in boning and portioning birds, you'll be well equipped to provide these gourmet dishes at home too. You will even learn how to cook the world's best roast potatoes with duck fat! You will get to be the judge, by dining at the “chef’s round table” on all of the dishes that you have created on the day, with a lovely glass of wine of course!

Session Length

  • This experience lasts for approximately three and a half hours
  • Available most Saturdays during the year at 10am
  • Available most Wednesday at 10am and most Thursdays at 6pm

Recipes cooked on the day are decided based on amount of people in the class.


Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy.

Numbers on the Day

1 chef and 1 chefs assistant are on duty and there are10 people maximum in the class.

Dress Code

It is recommended that participants wear closed toe shoes.

The cooking school is a short 5-10 minute walk from Port Melbourne.
