Do you have a taste for adventure and love the outdoors? Experience some of the most beautiful scenery Alice Springs has to offer on a quad bike adventure. Travel over bush tracks of varied terrain, down dry river beds passing majestic river gums and ride beside ancient mountain ranges.
On the day of your quad bike ride we collect you from your accommodation in Alice Springs. On leaving town we travel 17kms east of Alice Springs, entering the private property of Undoolya Station, the oldest working cattle station in the NT. After approximately 20 minutes drive we arrive at the homestead area and the start of your quad bike adventure. We ask that you sign a disclaimer form, we fit you with a safety helmet and provide you with a bottle of drinking water to take on the ride plus a safety briefing about the bikes. Then you are away, following your guide over bush tracks of various terrains, including dry creek beds and mountain ranges.
Learn about todays cattle industry, the history of the cattle station and gain an appreciation of the early pioneers who first settled the area. Some people are challenged by the experience on these tough go anywhere machines, others are amazed by the beautiful and rugged scenery where wildlife can be viewed at close proximity. The ride is of 1.5 hours in duration with stops along the way to take it all in. Upon returning to the homestead area you are transported by bus back to town.
