This extreme quad adventure is one action-packed tour! With over two and a half hours on the bike you'll get to ride on a variety of terrain like winding trails through native bush, open grassland and of course some very extreme rocky trails!!

Venture deep into bushland to find the pristine and secluded beach at Cape Kersaint - one of Australiaâ€™s top 100 surf beaches. Here, where dramatic cliffs, crashing waves and turquoise waters collide, your footprints are likely to be the only ones in the sand. Knowing there is nothing but the wild Southern Ocean between you and Antarctica, you really will feel like youâ€™re on the edge of the Earth!

The riding on this extreme adventure is more technical and covers a wider range of terrain but is still suitable for any experience level as instruction is provided throughout the tour.

Important information

Session Length

Tours available 7 days a week
Allow 3 hours for the whole experience, this includes 2.5 hours on the quad bike
Please book in advance particularly for school holiday periods

Guidelines

Minimum age 10 years
Minimum height is 170cm
Participants younger than 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years or over
No experience necessary
Riders must not be affected by drugs or alcohol on the day of the tour
You will be required to provide credit card details as a security deposit prior to participating in the activity
You will be required to complete a risk release form

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

The price quoted is for one person and there are no minimum numbers. Tours generally operate tours with a guide and from one to six customers. Larger groups can be catered for by request and will have more guides.

Weather

Tours operate in most weather conditions however during extreme conditions that may affect the safety of customers. As such staff reserve the right to reschedule your experience.

Dress Code

Long pants and enclosed footwear required. Sports bra recommended.

Other Info

Rocky terrain - not recommended for people with back issues.

A quad bike adventure for a latent learner

For this latent quad bike learner our adventure was fun with an emphasis on safety and encouragement to get you across the line. Track covered bush tracks with sandy loams to rocky outcrops.

This quad bike experience was above and beyond what I was expecting! Marcus and Pete were fantastic- sharing a wealth and knowledge and love for the island whilst giving us an unforgettable quad bike ride! A must do on the island for sure.

Had a great time on the Quad Bike Adventure. Sharni explained all the basics very well and was very informative about the local plants. Lee was kind enough to give us our own tour, at a faster pace, which was excellent. We all had so much fun. Well worth it!!

AMAZING QUAD BIKING ADVENTURE - Our guide Lee pull out all the stops to ensure we were comfortable, safe and got the most from our tour. His local knowledge of flora and fauna was outstanding, giving us great insight into the islands regeneration after the fires. The bikes were great fun, easy to handle and we got to experience plenty of different terrain.

We did the All Terrain Quad Bike Adventure and had an awesome time! The bikes are heaps of fun to ride, the trails and scenery are amazing, and the guides are fantastic at tailoring the tour to suit any skill level. Our guide James was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and made the tour a super fun and unforgettable experience. Highly recommend to anyone interested in seeing the incredible scenery KI has to offer and learning about the amazing and unique plants and wildlife on the island.

Did the Edge of the Earth Quad Adventure 3 hour tour with Mitch as our guide and the whole experience was amazing start to finish, cannot recommend this enough. Mitch is so knowledgeable with local history as well as fauna and flora, it makes the whole experience worth it!

Very professional outfit from phone contact, check in process, tour guide introduction and safety instruction. Tour guide was well informed about the local area and made the experience personable and fun, allowing us to ride at our comfort level (or let loose a little if we so desired).
