★★★★★ ★★★★★ Quad bike disaster Emma 21 February 2021 I booked the quad bike “adventure” for my partner’s birthday and we were unfathomably disappointed. 3/4 of the quad bikes broke down numerous times in 37 degree weather. To the credit of the tour guide he tried multiple times and got them back up and running (only for 5 mins at a time and they would break down again). Unfortunately by this point the experience was ruined and we were all overheating and becoming dehydrated. We only got out for 1.5 hours and probably only 10 mins of actual enjoyment. The description on red balloon is very inconsistent with the experience provided. Definitely not worth the 4 hour journey to get there.
★★★★★ ★★★★★ There is nothing adventure about this Nick 9 January 2021 We booked this 3 weeks out and were excited for some adrenaline loaded offroading on this "adventure tour". It should be renamed to "Learn how to go left and right on a Quad bike". The Quads were in poor shape, some had missing parts, oil leaks, some were burning oil etc. The maximum speed we were allowed to go was around 15-18km/h and we had to breathe in dust and exhaust fumes tuckering behind the guide on a gravel road any 2wd car could do. Apart from 5min through a bit of wood and 10min on a "track" at the very end of the tour there was no adventure or fun to be had.
