This exhilarating one hour quad biking and one hour sand boarding adventure has you exploring the expansive Lancelin dunes overlooking the Indian Ocean.

For an injection of adrenaline, join this three hour experience on the pristine white sand dunes of Lancelin, located north of Perth. After a safety briefing and kit up, you will head out to the 'snowy' playground for an epic adventure. For one hour, zip up and down some of the biggest dunes in Western Australia on an awesome quad bike. From the peaks, you will be rewarded with magnificent views of the Indian Ocean and surrounding farmland.

To continue the adrenaline pumping adventure, grab a sand board and slide down three story high dunes. You will have one hour on the board to explore the steep white dunes and test your skills as you grow more confident. The pristine white sand dunes are a spectacle in themselves, and quad biking and sand boarding down them adds to the extraordinary experience.

Restrictions

One quad bike is provided for this voucher, if you would like two, please purchase two vouchers.

Guidelines

Participants are required to bring photo identification
Minimum age for a driver is 16 years old
Minimum age for a passenger is eight years old
This experience is not suitable for those who are pregnant
This experience is not advised for those who suffer from back, neck or heart conditions or have any other pre existing conditions of injuries
A $250 pre authorisation bond is required per group, a physical bank card is required
A $25 cancellation fee will be charged with no refund or cancellation within three days of booking
Child quad for people aged eight to 13 years old
Adult quad for people aged 14 years old and over

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

This tour operates in all weather conditions. Tours may be cancelled in the case of bus fire restrictions. If the tour is cancelled, the experience provider will contact you directly to make alternate arrangements.

Dress Code

Please wear long pants and enclosed shoes and bring along a small backpack with at least 1.5L of water.

Epic Way to Explore the Sand Dunes

[Employee of redballoon] Such a fun mix of adventure, good vibes and amazing scenery. The guides were super chill, explained everything clearly and made sure everyone felt comfortable before we headed out. Even if you've never been on a quad before, they walk you through it and you pick it up really quickly. They are very basic to drive. Riding through the dunes was definitely the highlight - the views are incredible and it’s just a really great way to explore the area. Sandboarding was a great little bonus too - once you get the hang of it its fairly easy. It’s a great add‑on that makes the whole experience feel like a proper adventure day out. A few tips to make the day even better: Wear sunglasses - the sand and sun can be pretty full-on Put on sunscreen - you’re out in the open for most of it Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure - There is some paperwork to be done. And dont forget a physical credit card for the bond. All up, a great experience. Perfect for anyone who loves a bit of adventure or wants to try something different. Would definitely recommend!

Bad experience

We were really disappointed with the quad biking tour. The bikes were extremely slow, and we had to ride in a single line the whole time, strictly following the leader who went even slower. There was no chance to pick up speed or hit full throttle, which took all the fun out of it. The staff on the quad tour were also quite rude, which added to the negative experience. Sandboarding itself was okay, but overall we wouldn’t book this tour again or recommend it to others.

Very touristy and we went on a day with torrential rain and a storm. Fun in the rain on quads but the boarding was rubbish coz of the wet. Good day out.

Adventurous time zooming through the dunes

We really enjoyed this experience. Pierre was a great guide. Riding over dunes that looked like they went on forever.Quads were restricted but still enjoyable, we are a family of 3 experienced riders (different levels too) and still found it fun! The only thing I could recommend (to the provider) is to ask more questions about attendees experience and separate those that have absolutely no experience as this really does hinder the experience for those that are comfortable on quad bikes as they are constantly having to stop to wait for others to catch up.
