Experience one of the most thrilling motor sports out there as you get behind the wheel of a Turbo WRX Rally Car. Discover the secrets of this awesome car as you get sideways under the supervision of a professional driver. Get ready for 6 laps of fast and furious fun on a specially designed track.

What's included?

6 laps behind the wheel of a Subaru WRX
Helmet, race suit and intercom are provided
Refreshments are available for you and your guests

Your day will start when you arrive at at the specially designed race track where you will run through a race briefing and make sure that you are familiar the cars and the experience that is ahead of you. When you’re ready you'll meet your race instructor and then get strapped into a race prepared Subaru WRX rally car, then you're off! Drive 6 blistering laps getting more familiar with the track and car after each one. Your race instructor will give you constant guidance throughout the experience ensuring that you will be driving faster and faster each lap, and improving your technique with each one. Your aim is to make your last lap the fastest.

Optional in-car go-pro footage of your laps is available at extra cost of $40.00 paid on the day.

Important information

Session Length

You need to allow 3 hours at the track depending on the final numbers in your group
Morning session 8.30am – 12.30pm
Afternoon session 12.30pm – 4.30pm
Selected weekends only

Guidelines

Minimum age is 12 years, no licence required
All passengers and drivers are required to sign a waiver of liability form
Max weight is 150kg and maximum height is 203cm

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Maximum group size is ten people

Spectators

You are welcome to bring spectators with you to watch you drive.
It is advisable you bring along refreshments as there are no catering facilities at the locations

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider
If your experience is cancelled you will be rescheduled by the provider

Dress Code

You will be supplied with overalls and helmet but you will get a little dusty
You need to wear closed in shoes

6 Minutes of slow boring driving & "No Drifting"

I was expecting a little bit of adrenalin and some sideways action, however I got neither. The instructor tells you to stay in 3rd gear for each whole 1 minute lap this is to keep the revs low so the so called Turbo can not kick in therefore the car was unable to barely drift in a corner. On top of that the course is that narrow and rough they put witches hats to make it even narrower. They also let 2 cars on the track at the same time so i spent most of the time driving behind a slower driver and unable to overtake wasting half of my six minutes nothingness. I would highly recommend you don't waste your money on this misleading experience.

Lots of signs so it's pretty simple to find the place. The older guys were really great, the instructor was awesome for my son who had never driven before and he loved the experience. Helmet sizes weren't great, but that's my only complaint. Would definitely recommend.

Off road rush was fun

Off road rush was fun but the cars were worse for wear and the one I drove had an engine light on. It was also very underpowered. They took the kids for a little spin which was good and the staff were very helpful and nice.

Unfortunately you have to wait up to 3-4 hours for your turn, and the drive only goes for 5 minutes. It's not worth the wait. You don't know when your turn will be until you turn up

Brilliant time, by your last laps your instructor will have you hooting around the track. Book more than you think you want! Its over so soon, and you'll want to keep going. Grab the kids a hot lap so they can experience the fun as well.

Fantastic fun. Great organisation from an experienced and friendly crew. Drinks and snacks supplied. But the best thing was the driving. Didn't feel rushed and not scared to let you get loose in the corners. Awsome experience.

Staff were excellent!! Friendly, helpful, made the day awesome!! Complimentary tea and coffee and soft drinks, water, chips. Very well organised. Even allowed the children to have a slow lap too which they thought was awesome!! Could not fault!!!
