Experience the smells, flavours and textures of Asia in your very own home during this 12 week online cooking course! You will fall in love with cooking again as you connect with expert chefs during live demonstrations and learn the fundamentals of preparing and cooking traditional Asian dishes.
Wanting to add Asian cuisine to your repertoire or looking to refine some skills? This 12 week online cooking class is the perfect start! Run over 12 weeks, you will learn the fundamentals of essential food safety, nutrition, shopping hacks, knife skills as well as many cooking methods for vegetables, salads, meats and fish. One week you'll be taken on a sensory journey through the heart of India, and the next, you'll be learning to create exquisite Japanese dishes. Each session has two live classes per week, so you are able to interact with the chefs and ask as many questions as you like. You'll also get access to offline videos and recipes to help you build on your skills and master the dishes at home.
Please note: Upon purchase, you will receive a voucher in your email. In order to begin your course, you must redeem your voucher on the RedBalloon website for any date and time. Instructions on how to redeem your voucher will be stated on the voucher itself. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be enrolled in an online platform and receive a link to access class notes and the video library.
This course is run over 12 weeks, you may start the course at any time. Each live class is approximately 30-45 minutes in duration.
WEBINAR. Each week we host a Zoom webinar on Wednesday at 6.30-8 pm AEST for online cooking demonstrations lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. This class can be view on Zoom webinar or follow Facebook. MEETING. Each week we also host a Zoom meeting on Sunday at 6.30-8 pm AEST so you can cook! We will be there to answer your questions.
Move at your own pace! Sign on to our course at any time. We provide support for you to complete the course once you begin. Our rotating menu means each week we will focus on a new cuisine or set of dishes. It is best for you to cook the same menu during that week. We understand it might be difficult to find ingredients and it is better to build up the pantry slowly. So after each 12-week cycle, we have 4-week break then you can cook the dishes you missed and you can get support by using our portal with “comment” or contact us.
