Learn to cook Asian street food like a local! This hands-on cooking class teaches the flavours and fundamentals of Asian cuisine, including how to make your own curry pastes and sauces from scratch. At the end of the session, enjoy a delicious three course meal cooked by you!

Take part in a fun, hands-on cooking class inspired by traditional Asian street food – suitable for all experience levels. This three hour masterclass is taught by an experienced chef who will guide you through three tantalising dishes. Enjoy an intimate class size of up to 16 participants, where you will work in small groups to make dishes off the menu. Learn valuable new culinary skills and the art of presentation throughout each course. At the end of the session, sit down with your new friends to indulge in a three course meal as cooked by you!

Important information

Session Length

This masterclass runs for three hours.

Midweek classes operate from 6pm
Weekend classes operate from 10am and 3pm

Restrictions

This is a booking request only and the supplier will contact you to confirm a date! This class is available Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan and Dairy-Free. Please note you will work and cook together as a team with other participants. To ensure the class finishes on time some basic elements are provided for you. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult or they will be refused entry and their class forfeited.

The Asian street food cooking class was fabulous.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Asian street food cooking class on Sunday. Chef Tong was very friendly and demonstrated the steps to the recipes clearly and with humour as well as telling us interesting facts about regional foods from South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. After we cooked the various dishes we sat down to enjoy them for lunch. They were all delicious and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Me, my sister and her 2 daughters did this course and we all loved it. The chef was so knowledgeable and very funny too. The food we cook was delicious and will definitely be making it all again for friends. Highly recommend.

The class was enjoyable, fun, and very well planned out. Tong was clearly an accomplished cook as well as being humorous. We got to eat the delicious food we cooked, and there was also some to take home and enjoy the next day. It’s an experience we would recommend .

A great way to spend your evening, meet new people and learn easy authentic Asian recipes. Tong was fabulous,and captivated the groups attention for the whole workshop. His experience running a kitchen, along w his comedic abilities really added dimension and flare.

We enjoyed our Asian Street Food cooking class. We've done a few cooking classes of this type, and I think it helps to understand in advance that you may not be involved in cooking every dish. However, there were enough hands-on bits to keep us occupied and we learned some good cooking tips, particularly about how to pack the blender to make the curry paste. I wish we had known in advance to bring our own containers to take our leftovers home.
