Discover the beauty of the Fleurieu Peninsula and fall in love with this beautiful part of South Australia. From spectacular landscapes, incredible wildlife, beautiful architecture and unique wineries, there's plenty to explore on this full day tour. Departing from Adelaide CBD, you'll journey down south and enjoy a scenic drive through the Fleurieu Peninsula to the coastal town of Victor Harbor.
Upon arriving at Victor Harbor, enjoy a stroll along the iconic causeway to Granite Island, where you'll indulge in a delicious picnic lunch amongst a backdrop of breathtaking ocean views and nature. Then, get ready to embark on a 90-minute adventure cruise around Seal Island, Wright Island and the Granite boulders, making sure you keep your eyes peeled for all the wildlife around, including seabirds, seals and dolphins.
You'll then swap out nature for some time in the vineyards, as you make your way to the spectacular McLaren Vale wine region. Your first agenda is to explore d'Arenberg Winery and it's famous cube architecture. Don't forget to visit the museum for a sensory delight! Your day will end with a visit to Gemtree Winery, known for its biodynamic wine practices and biodiverse wetlands. Here you'll explore the wetlands and visit the cellar door for a relaxed afternoon tasting some of their incredible wine and delicacies.
Minimum of six and a maximum of 12 participants. Please be aware if minimum tour numbers are not met the tour will be cancelled. The experience provider will endeavour to rebook you in the next available session. In cases where they are unable to reschedule you, a full refund will be offered.
This experience runs in all weather conditions. Should the weather be deemed unsafe to operate by management, you will be contacted by email or SMS as soon as possible to reschedule your booking. If you do not receive a notification from us prior to your session, you may safely assume that your experience will be going ahead. Unfortunately, there may be some instances where bursts of extreme weather are not forecasted, which may result in the session being cancelled upon arrival.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and warm clothing. It is recommended to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, sunhat and a small backpack to carry personal items.
Please note that the boat tour is operated by a third party supplier and on occasion will not be available. In these circumstances we will substitute the boat tour for an alternate activity.
