Coined as the surf capital of Australia, Torquay is the perfect place for a fun-filled lesson. Over the two hours, your skilled surf coach will teach you the basics of the sport, from the correct paddling technique and how to catch a wave through to the correct stance. Your lesson will begin on the sand with a safety briefing and some basic instruction, before heading out into the water to put theory into practice. After catching some waves, you will return to the sand for a more detailed demonstration on how to stand up. You will spend the rest of the lesson in the water working on your skills.
