Glide out onto the sparkling waters of Budds Beach on a stand up paddle board and set off to explore the beauty of the Gold Coast. This two hour tour begins with a quick lesson on balance and paddling technique before meandering through the scenic waterways and mangrove areas of Macintosh Island.
Get out on the water and explore the Gold Coast's beautiful shorelines during a two hour guided stand up paddle board tour. Located within walking distance from Cavil Mall, your experience begins in the shallows of Budds Beach where you will the learns the basics of paddling and stance before heading off. Cruise by local mansions, high rise hotels and buildings before soaking in the natural beauty of Macintosh Island. Here you will pull in to enjoy a relaxed walk through the park, getting up close and personal with peacocks and other birdlife. Spot dolphins playing or sea life swimming in the mangroves before gliding effortlessly back to Budds Beach.
This lesson commences with minimum of two people and can take up to 16 in one session.
Spectators can sit in the park or on the beach to watch the lesson but once the group is on the water it will be a restricted view. Ammenities at the beach include change room, toilets, outdoor shower, BBQ, shaded area, seating, a playground and a cafe. Free on the street parking available.
Wear what you feel comfortable in - swimmers, boardies, gym wear or sun protective clothing (if required). Bring a towel, a change of clothes and a hat.
This experience takes place in Surfers Paradise on the beautiful river in the heart of the city.
