The Tamar Valley boasts a perfect mix of fresh air, clean water, fertile soils and passionate locals that work seamlessly together to make it an unrivalled place when it comes to superior produce. On this small-group private tour of Tasmania's oldest wine region, you will explore the best food and wine on offer for a day of mouthwatering magic. Your local guide will take you to three incredible Tamar Valley businesses, which are turning heads for their premium products and creative prowess.
Your first stop will take you deep into the valley to the exclusive, by-appointment-only Utzinger where you'll embark on a private vineyard and tasting experience of this boutique winery with owners Matthias and/or Lauren. You'll then head up the River Tamar where you'll enter the cellar doors of Stoney Rise Wine Company for a relaxed wine tasting and a small snack. Be inspired by the spectacular architecture of the establishment and soak in the the stunning views of the vines and river, before making your final stop at Timbre Kitchen. Here you'll indulge in an exquisite set lunch made of seasonal, local and fresh produce with a complimentary glass of Velo still wine to top off a fantastic day.
This is a private tour with a minimum of two guests and a maximum of 11 guests.
This experience runs in all weather conditions.
