Treat your taste buds to the modern man's version of high tea at the luxurious Thorngrove Manor, set in the hills of Stirling. Take a seat in front of the open log fire and feast on a mouth-watering platter laden with savoury treats such as wild boar and thyme sausage rolls, scotch eggs and more.
No longer is high tea only an indulgent pastime for women, featuring traditional ribbon sandwiches, petit fours and scones served with clotted cream and jam. Enter guy tea: a masculine-inspired dining experience featuring blokey bites such as alpaca and ale pies, wild boar and thyme sausage rolls, and chocolate and whiskey cake. Held at the opulent Thorngrove Manor in Stirling, Australia's oldest wine region, the castle will open their gates for an exclusive private afternoon tea for you and a mate. Sit down at an immaculately set table positioned in front of a cosy log fire and indulge in a unique array of savoury delights, freshly prepared by their in-house chef. Oozing artistry, creativity and baroque decor, you will find it hard to believe that you are only 20 minutes outside of Adelaide CBD. Sit back and sip on a selection of traditional loose leaf teas and single origin coffees (because everyone knows real men drink tea!) and finish the afternoon with a tour of the grounds.
