Know someone with a passion for pickles? Or maybe you have a hankering for sauerkraut? In this hands on workshop, you'll learn to make your favourite pickles and ferments at home! The two hour class is hands-on and fun, covering the basics of these timeless preservation classics. Each participant will make a jar of mixed vinegar-based pickles, plus a jar of fresh sauerkraut to take home. During the workshop, you'll learn the basic techniques for successful pickling and fermenting at home, while sipping a glass of wine and snacking on crackers and pickles!
