Learn how to make pickles at home! This two hour, hands-on workshop will treat you to a glass of wine and nibbles, while you learn the basics of these timeless preservation techniques. At the end of the class, take home a jar of pickles and a jar of sauerkraut.

Know someone with a passion for pickles? Or maybe you have a hankering for sauerkraut? In this hands on workshop, you'll learn to make your favourite pickles and ferments at home! The two hour class is hands-on and fun, covering the basics of these timeless preservation classics. Each participant will make a jar of mixed vinegar-based pickles, plus a jar of fresh sauerkraut to take home. During the workshop, you'll learn the basic techniques for successful pickling and fermenting at home, while sipping a glass of wine and snacking on crackers and pickles!

Session Length

  • Classes start at 6:30pm and run until approximately 8:30pm
  • The classes take place the first Wednesday of every month


  • All pickles are vegan friendly
  • Gluten free bread is available on request
  • Participants must be over the age of 18 to be served wine; photo ID may be required
  • Vegan wine can be provided; please advise at time of booking


Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:
