That’s 10% of the Australian population! When we started ‘doing’ experiences in 2001, Facebook didn’t exist; the iPod had just been invented; John Howard was Prime Minister; and Destiny's Child were popular (yikes!). We’ve been at this business of experiences for quite a while, so put your trust in us to show you a good time.
The RedBalloon Price Guarantee does not apply to experiences involving accommodation or Experience Providers' own conditional sales.
Enter into a green wonderland as you navigate through the Mossman Gorge for a day. Stay cool in the hot tropics during a river drift snorkelling adventure, wander through the rainforest on a guided walk, bliss out beside a waterfall and enjoy a traditional smoking ceremony. Lunch is included.
After pickup from Port Douglas, Palm Cove and Mossman, you'll enter into an ancient rainforest, characterised by crystal clear waters and towering lush trees to discover life beneath the surface during an awesome river drift snorkelling adventure. As you submerge into the cool flowing stream, be dazzled by fish darting in every direction around the river stones and look out for the occasional turtle. Then, fuel up on a well deserved lunch before a traditional Kuku Yalanji smoking ceremony at the Mossman Gorge, where you’ll be cleansed of bad spirits and painted with traditional body paint. Continue on with an awe-inspiring guided walk of the Daintree National Park, keeping cool under the shaded canopy of towering trees as you learn more about it. Stop by a watering hole for an afternoon snack and refreshing dip in the pristine waters, and remember to always keep watch for the Boyd's Forest Dragon!
