In one lesson you'll embark on a sizzling culinary adventure that marries the ancient art of barbecue with the vibrant flavours of the Middle East. This immersive class invites you to explore the diverse grilling traditions spanning Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, and the Arab world.

Under the guidance of an expert chef, you'll unlock the secrets of crafting mouthwatering kebabs, succulent kofta, and perfectly charred vegetables. You'll also discover the magic of aromatic spice blends and marinades that transform simple ingredients into extraordinary dishes.

Then you'll learn the secrets to fire management, from achieving the ideal heat for tender meats to mastering the smoky kiss that defines great barbecue. We'll demystify the art of timing, ensuring your creations are cooked to perfection every time. Finally, you'll dive into the world of mezze, creating delectable accompaniments that complement and elevate your grilled masterpieces.

Important information

This experience is three hours in duration.

Participants must be 18 years and over to be served alcohol; photo ID may be required.

  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to ensure a successful day barbequing for all
  • All aprons, equipment and ingredients are supplied fresh from our suppliers for a great days cooking
  • No group bookings
  • Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Classes operate with 12 – 20 people in each cooking class plus 2 experienced chefs. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be contacted via email the Thursday prior to your experience to offer an alternate date for the class.

Our venue has a venue capacity of 15 people, unfortunately, we do not allow spectators however they are welcome to join as one of the participants in the session.

Under any severe weather warning, we will be in touch with you to give you updates on your session.

Please wear covered footwear on the day of the cooking class. During the cooler months, it is also recommended to bring a jumper as the class is held in an outdoor location.

If you have dietary requirements, please notify the experience provider once your booking has been confirmed.
