Enjoy an adventure-packed day in the snowy wonderland of Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, just 90 minutes' drive from Melbourne. At 7:55am, you'll board a modern coach and begin the scenic journey to Lake Mountain, first stopping at the world-famous Yarra Valley wine region. Here you will pop into the Yarra Valley Gateway Estate Coldstream or Beechworth Bakery to grab some lunch and pick up some local produce, sweets and pastries. Now that you are fuelled up for the day ahead, your driver will continue on to the ski resort. Once here, you will enjoy three hours of free leisure time. First timers can choose to take a professional ski or snowboard lesson, toboggan down the slopes, ride the flying fox or build snowmen. The resort also offers fantastic facilities including a cafe, amenities, ski equipment rental stores and more.
The afternoon winds down with a visit to the charming town of Marysville where you will take a stroll to the breathtaking Steavenson Falls, one of the high altitude waterfalls in the mountain ranges of Victoria. Listen to the sounds of the falling waters and birds as you reflect not only on an action-filled day but also the magnificence and richness of the natural world.
