Try your hand at flying a helicopter! This once in a lifetime experience begins with a theory session covering all aspects of the helicopter controls before it's time to put what you've learnt into practice. Once airborne, you'll practice banking, turning, increasing and decreasing altitude.

Ever wondered what it's like to fly a helicopter? Learn the basics of flying with this trial introductory flight. The experience begins with a theory session covering all aspects of the helicopter controls and how they are used for straight and level flight, banking and turning, and increasing and decreasing altitude. This pre-flight briefing will also introduce some of the very basic aerodynamic concepts that effect the helicopter while it is flying. Once complete, your pilot will take you through all of the mandatory pre-flight preparations including weigh-in, fuel calculations, C of G calculations and weather report. Finally you'll take to the skies with your pilot before being given flight control. Your flying session will have you practising banking, turning, increasing and decreasing altitude. Perfect for a once-off experience or those wanting a taste of a career in aviation!
