Departing Port Douglas, your pilot will glide over the iconic Great Barrier Reef, affording you with views of picturesque waters in every shade of blue before landing on Undine Cay, a low sandy island surrounded by a large fringing reef system. Step out onto the powder-soft sands and be treated to a gourmet picnic hamper and sparkling wine, set up with beach chairs and an umbrella. You'll have two hours to soak in this idyllic location, with time to snorkel in the turquoise waters, wander down the beach or to simply laze on the sand. Continue the magic with a return scenic flight back to Port Douglas.

Important information

  • Please allow three hours for the duration of this experience
  • You will have two hours at Undine Cay and 40 minutes of flight time
  • Available between 1 April and 31 August

Individual passenger weights and accompanying carry-on luggage must be advised at time of booking. Weight variances greater than 10% may incur an additional fee. Maximum single seat payload of 130kg. For passenger comfort and aircraft weight and balance, passengers exceeding 130kg are required to purchase an additional seat at 50% of ticket price.

  • Participants must be over the age of 18 years to consume alcohol; photo ID may be required
  • Undine Cay is a public sand cay that cannot be reserved. While no refunds apply if occupied on arrival, alternative arrangements are discussed and confirmed at booking
  • Due to bird migration, Undine Cay is seasonal with visitation valid between 1 April and 31 August
  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

This experience is for two people.

In the event of bad weather, providing there is availability, date changes are welcome.

It is recommended you bring swimmers, a towel, sunscreen and a hat.

This experience takes place on Undine Cay in the Great Barrier Reef, departing Port Douglas QLD.
