Explore the oldest living tropical rainforest in the world on this full day guided tour. Departing from Port Douglas, you'll head north to the park first stopping at Emmagen Beach for a stroll along the sand and to soak in the picturesque scenery. From there, enjoy a short scenic nearby Emmagen Creek under the gorgeous rainforest canopy until you reach Mossman Gorge. Here you can safety swim in the cool waters or sit back and take in the serenity.
After recharging with a delicious morning tea of tropical fruits, cakes, tea and coffee, you'll head off on a scenic cruise along Cooper Creek. As you listen to fascinating live commentary on the region, you may be lucky enough to spot salt water crocodiles who reside in these waters, amongst a diverse range of local wildlife. A tasty buffet lunch at a rainforest resort follows before heading to Daintree Ice Cream Company where guests can purchase a cup of their famous tropical fruit ice cream. The tour finishes with a short nature walk to Alexandra Point, offering panoramic views over the Daintree River, Great Barrier Reef and Port Douglas. The photo opportunities are endless!
