This experience is serene yet exciting - who knew so much wonder existed so close to town! Let your local, experienced guide take you on a scenic cruise up the Nepean and Warragamba Rivers. Spend two hours being shown how much this fantastic region has to offer! Over 30km of sheer sandstone walls greet you as you travel toward the Warragamba Dam. You'll see Australia at its best; huge gum trees, waterfalls, marsupials - it's all here, being watched over by the resident sea eagles. You're out in the bush now! It's hard to be believe such an amazing, untouched region can exist so close to Sydney - come along and see for yourself!
This river cruise is quite unique as it is a personal, up close tour of the Nepean and Warragamba rivers and their gorges, as well as seeing Warragamba dam from below.
The remote Warragamba gorge has to be seen to be believed, sheer high gorge walls tower above the small river, you will also get a unique view of being below Warragamba dam, it really is an impressive site from this view.
At any time the wildlife is also impressive, with resident sea eagles, kingfishers, swans and pelicans. Not to mention goannas, water dragons, wallabies and roos and usually leaping fish.
This experience is two hours, available all day for most of the year.
