Some experiences are worth travelling for. This is one of them. The Skypark Cairns Two-Jump Package gives you the full AJ Hackett experience in a single two-hour session: a classic Bungy Jump from the 50-metre tower followed by the Running Roof Jump - the only experience of its kind in Australia, and one of the most extraordinary things you can do in Queensland. Jump One: The Classic Bungy You begin at the world's first purpose-built Bungy Tower, established in 1990 by AJ Hackett, the New Zealand adventurer who pioneered modern commercial Bungy. Standing 50 metres above a natural rainforest lagoon, you choose from 16 jump styles — classic, backwards, tandem or upside-down — before stepping off the edge. Your AJ Hackett instructor checks every piece of equipment and guides you through the briefing. The freefall lasts three seconds. The feeling lasts considerably longer.

Jump Two: The Running Roof Jump After your standard Bungy, you progress to the roof platform. This is where the experience becomes something else entirely. You don't stand at the edge and look down. You run. A running start, off the roof of the Bungy tower, 53 metres above World Heritage tropical rainforest, with the Great Barrier Reef visible on the horizon. It is the only running roof bungee jump in Australia, and whether you complete it is at the discretion of the Jump Master — which means you earn it. Good to Know This is a single-person activity. Minimum weight 45kg, minimum age 10 years. Not suitable for pregnant women or people with heart conditions, epilepsy, vertigo or high blood pressure. Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes. The roof jump is at the discretion of the Jump Master — participants must complete one confident standard Bungy before progressing.
