Learn how to paddle board in the surrounds of a stunning estuary environment, that is, the Brunswick River. An experienced instructor will teach you the basics to standing, paddling and turning before setting out on an adventure down the river, which is brimming with unique bird and marine life.

Make the river your playground to explore during this fun stand up paddle boarding lesson and tour down the Brunswick River. Meeting at Byron Bay, you will hop on board a complimentary shuttle service into the quaint historical town of Brunswick Heads. After a warm up, an experienced instructor will teach you the basic techniques to have you gliding down the river like a pro in no time. You'll be taken through stroke techniques, balancing, turning and safety, getting you prepped for the adventure ahead. Once confident, you'll paddle into the deeper waters for a lovely tour of the river, receiving in water tuition throughout. Marvel at your serene surrounds as you stroke, keeping an eye out for an array of bird and marine life that call the river home. Paddle back to the launch site and make the return journey to Byron Bay. If time permits, why not pop in at the iconic Brunswick Heads Hotel for a refreshing drink or two at your own cost.
