Begin your adventure with an easy 45-minute walk with an indigenous ranger, listening to the dreamtime stories of the cassowary, the evolution of the landscape and the cultural heritage of the indigenous tribes over the last 60,000 years. You will then head over to Babinda Boulders, a stunning swimming hole surrounded by vibrant rainforest. It is home to an abundance of bird life and natural beauty. This luscious area is made up of fast-flowing creeks that weave through huge granite boulders, creating a unique landscape that cannot be found anywhere else. You will then continue your day with a relaxing bush walk through the rainforest to the Devil Pools lookout, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch whilst learning about the famous Yindinji Indigenous Legend that gave these beautiful pools their eerie name. Float in the cool, clear water and enjoy the serene, luscious rainforest surroundings.
If you cannot swim at all, or cannot swim confidently please reach out to the supplier after. booking - and they will ensure to organise some swimming locations that are safe and accessible.
This experience runs with a minimum of 4 and maximum of 11 participants.
In cases of heavy rain, where the waterfalls and swimming holes cannot be accessed, due to the water levels rising, an alternative swimming location will be used.
Swimming Costume & Towel. This experience requires comfortable loose clothing and closed in shoes, such as hiking boots or sneakers. Insect repellent, water bottle, hat, sunscreen and a raincoat is recommended
