Restrictions

Guests of the Ottessa Cabin must be over the age of 18. You will receive an email with pre-arrival instructions upon booking the cabin. Additional house rules will also be provided in your field guide.

Guidelines

• Guests must be over the age of 18
• From December to April, the entire Macedon Ranges region usually enters a Fire Danger Period. No camp fires are permitted at your cabin during this time
• The exact location of your cabin will provide upon booking
• Cabins are located on rural and often undeveloped areas of land that are often not occupied by the Landowner all year round
• Guest acknowledge that they are responsible for their own safety in and around the cabin and property
• Additional house rules will be provided in your field guide
• Midweek is Monday to Thursday
• Subject to availability
• Pets are welcome. There is a $40 pet fee which will be charged by Unyoked directly
• All cabins have a minimum of 2-night stay on weekends.

Cancellation

• For changes made at least 30 days prior to arrival there is no cancellation fee and guests can choose to either reschedule, receive a gift voucher for the full amount
• For changes made 15-30 days prior to arrival, there is a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount (plus 5% processing fee).
• For cancellations within 15 days prior to arrival there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise.
• For early departures prior to your Departure Date, there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise

Weather

The cabin is a great place to be during the warmer and cooler months and even when it rains! During wet or poor weather, guests may be notified of a weather warning. In the event you are notified of a weather warning, there will be a place to park your vehicle/s in any alternative nominated wet weather zones.

This experience is located in the Macedon Ranges, VIC. Ottessa sits on the traditional land of the Wurundjeri People. It is approximately one hour drive from Melbourne. Please note there is a 250 metre hike to the cabin from the car park.
