Learn to cook seafood infused with the delicious flavours, aromas and textures of the Australian Bush. Expect to create delightful dishes such as prawn skewers with lemon myrtle aspen and finger lime, crispy skin salmon baked with mountain pepperberry rub and macadamia short bread.

Learn to cook using Australia's native herbs, spices and fruits that have been consumed by Indigenous Australians for generations. Over four hours, an experienced chef will teach you how to incorporate these wild ingredients into a selection of seafood dishes. Commonly regarded as Australia's superfoods, these ingredients are full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, that are not only good for you but taste amazing. Turn your mediocre crispy skin salmon and prawn skewers into dishes that are packed full of flavour and life. At the end of the class, take a seat in the outdoor dining area that overlooks the beautiful Tweed Valley and enjoy your efforts with a glass of wine. You will also receive a recipe booklet to take home so you can impress your guests at your next dinner party!

Children are permitted if they are over 12 years old & serious food enthusiast, otherwise we work on case by case basis depending on maturity & willingness to learn.

  • The kitchen is accredited with a gluten free status. The provider will try their very best to cater for other dietary needs with prior notice. Please advise any dietary requirements when booking
