Knife skills are critical in an efficient kitchen and assist in making cooking a real pleasure. Practice chopping and slicing as you are taken through methods taught to trainee chefs around the world. This is the first step in becoming a truly great cook.
Knives are the chef’s most prized asset and it should be no different in your home kitchen. It’s imperative to understand how to handle these pieces of equipment to take your culinary prowess to the next level! Let the professionals teach you these techniques so, with a bit of practice you can chop like an expert chef! We'll assist you to achieve skills that, with practice, will speed up food preparation in your kitchen. Chop, slice, eat and we'll clean up! During this class you'll learn which knives to use and when, how to keep them sharp and knife buying tips.
The experience runs for 3 hours. On weeknights classes start at 6.15pm and on Saturday’s at 10.00am or 2.30pm.
Up to 18 participants with 2 teachers and a kitchen assistant
This experience is not affected by the weather.
Covered in flat shoes, no thongs, sandals or stilettos. No singlets or sleeveless shirts.
