Learn how to make Spanish tapas using your barbecue in this cooking class! Impress family and friends at your next backyard barbie when you serve 4 popular Spanish dishes. A fun way to brush up on your barbecuing skills and learn new recipes, this class also includes a glass of sangria on arrival.
On arrival at your bbq cooking class, you'll be handed a glass of sangria - made with Audrey Wilkinson wine - and some breads with oil and balsamic for dipping. Throw your apron on and get to know your fellow students and the chefs that will be teaching you some barbecue secrets!
The chefs will give a talk outlining the menu and imparting some of their bbq wisdom around temperatures and techniques for cooking different types of meats. You will then go on to watch demonstrations and then replicate them. You get to eat everything you cook!
By the end of the session, you will have the confidence to go home and recreate the dishes you learnt on the day with the help of a take home cookbook, of course.
You must be 18+ years to be served alcohol. Photo ID may be required.
Once this experience has been confirmed changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy. Fees may apply.
Classes operate with 12 – 20 people in each cooking class plus 2 experienced chefs. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be contacted via email the Thursday prior to your experience to offer an alternate date for the class.
Participants are required to wear closed shoes for cooking.
