Visit the amazing 1837 Barossa Winery for a five hour experience. This unforgettable day will include a guided vineyard walk, a tasting of 8 Barossa wines, a two course lunch at the stunning Horizon@1837 restaurant and to top it all off, a scenic helicopter ride over the idyllic Southern Barossa.
Take in the incredible magic that the Barossa Valley has to offer with this unforgettable day at the 1837 Barossa Winery. Start your day with a visit to The Barossa Colonel Light Monument and enjoy the full 360 degree views from the historic Barossa estate. Take the wonderful art trail to the Barossa Pavillion where you will be welcomed with a short film about the history of Colonel William Light and how he came to name the now famous Barossa Valley. This will then be followed by a guided vineyard walk where you learn all about grape growing and if season permits, you will be able to sample some grapes.
Your day will then continue with a professional wine tasting experience of eight Barossa wines inclusive of the reserve range. Then, head on over to the stunning Horizon@1837 Restaurant for a two course lunch menu accompanied by a complimentary glass of wine. To top off this incredible day, take to the skies and enjoy a 15 minute helicopter ride from the helipad capturing a perfect view of the idyllic Southern Barossa. On the way out, you will have a chance to take some final pictures from the supersized baroque picture frame allowing you to pose with fantastic views of the Barossa Valley and Range in the background. There will also be the opportunity to purchase wine to take home (this can be shipped direct to your home from the winery).
This experience has a duration of five hours.
Please note that transfers to and from 1837 Barossa Estate are not included in this experience.
