Departing from Airlie Beach, begin your fairytale day with a breathtaking 60 minute scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef and islands, including Heart Reef, Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach. Ogle at the brilliant blue and turquoise hues of the waters and the iconic swirling white silica sands of Hill Inlet. Return to base and set off on an invigorating rafting experience across the tropical waters, exploring uninhabited islands that are teeming with marine and bird life. This tour includes ample snorkelling time, allowing you to discover the unmatched beauty of the underwater world. Not recommended for pregnant women, the elderly or participants with bad back problems
A signed release will be required from all participants on departure
Courtesy coach pick-ups are available from local accommodation. Please advise at the time of booking if you require a pick-up
For legal and safety reasons all passengers are weighed prior to boarding. Individual weights in excess of 110kg will incur an extra seat surcharge. Maximum per seat weight is 125 kgs
Please note if you are travelling to the Whitsundays on a cruise ship, the timings of this experience do not align with the visiting cruise ship schedule

Sites are weather and tide permitting.

Dress Code

Please bring swimwear, sun protective clothing, towel, a hat, sand shoes and a sweater or jacket in the winter months to protect you from the wind and keep you warm after snorkelling.

Public holiday surcharge of $20 per adult, $10 per child and $50 per family (2ad and 2ch) is payable direct to the supplier on the day of the experience

Incredible experience

We were advised the day before the tour that we were the only 2 that booked the scenic flight that morning so the flight part of the tour has been cancelled. We were offered alternate options and we opted to go the following day which was fine. The Ocean Rafting boat was so much fun and the ride was super smooth. Charlotte and Alex led the tour and they were fantastic. They were full of good vibes and energy. We were advised that we would be snorkeling first so we were fitted into stinger suits prior to boarding. We did 2 snorkeling stops around Hook Island and had plenty of time to explore the reef which had plenty of fish. Some people even spotted a turtle. Next, we cruised over to Whitsunday Island to see Hill Inlet. Charlotte took plenty of photos for everyone here. Lastly, we cruised over to Champagne Beach for lunch (Northern part of Whitehaven beach) where they had an exclusive permit to disembark here. It was super relaxing here chilling on the beach - we bought our own drinks, highly recommend doing so. Also highly recommend sitting on the side or the front of the boat for maximum fun ;). We changed where we sat between each stop to fully experience the Ocean Rafting aspect. We had the scenic flight the next day and the views were amazing - this is definitely a must do. The views of Hill inlet was even better from above. It was amazing to see the Great Barrier Reef from above including the iconic Heart reef. We also spotted a few whales which was a total bonus! For those prone to motion sickness, I would recommend taking something beforehand because I ended up vomiting on the flight but no regrets on doing this tour. Am glad to have done this on 2 separate days. Highly recommend this experience! Worth every dollar.

We started off the day with our scenic flight which was absolutely amazing and worth every dollar! Beautiful views of the Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef from above. We were then dropped off at the Marina to do the ocean rafting. The crew with Nicole, Braden and Declan was amazing. They were so friendly and made this a brilliant experience. Hill inlet outlet was stunning and lunch at Champagne Bay was relaxing and nice. We then snorkeled at two beautiful spots. The day went seamlessly as advertised. Can highly recommend!
