The location at Darling Harbour is quite nice, water views, watching boats come and go and people watching from the heated outside dining area. The seafood plater at $299 was a little under whelming. A number of seafood items were missing from our plater. The menu outlined the plater inclusions, but we were short changed on the bbq prawns and the fish pieces were missing as were the potato chips. However, what was served up in the plater was filling and very nice, especially the oysters, Balmain bug, half lobster and calamari. All very nice and flavoursome. the complimentary glass of wine, chardonnay and beer, Heineken, as part of the Dining Experience was also up to scratch. We were just a little disappointed that some of the seafood mentioned in the platter menu was not served. We also ordered garlic bread in addition to the platter voucher ($299) and were charged $5, which was very reasonable. Would I go again. To the restaurant, yes, but not with the Seafood Plater Dining Experience. We observed other diners sampling the Seafood Bisque and other items from the menu and they all looked very enticing. ★★★★★ ★★★★★ Over Priced Rene 20 March 2025 We prepaid and was looking forward to a Beautiful lunch. we arrived and was looked after and seated. 6 assorted oysters as Startes, then a plate with half lobster,1 prawn, part of octopus like rubber, and some calamari and some veg. We could not get the meat out of the lobster, i think it was frozen and not fresh, i gave up eating it. then came the desert 2 small items. This place is overpriced and not good quality food. The seafood platter we had looked amazing but the lobster and bugs were tasteless. The octopus was so tough I couldn’t even cut it so left it.
