Overlooking the Tweed Valley and nestled amongst lush rainforest, Tropical Fruit World provides the perfect environment to grow over 500 fruits from across the world. Discover all the exotic, unusual and delicious fruits that flourish in this working plantation on a fully guided farm tour. Journey through the orchards by tractor train, unwind as you cruise along the peaceful waterways, meet the farm and Aussie animal friends at the Fauna Park and sample and learn about all the delicious seasonal fruits during a fruit tasting session. Your senses will be in a fruity heaven!

The farm tour is two hours in duration. You may stay afterwards for as long as you like
Available seven days a week
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your session

Guidelines

Children under four years are free of charge, but the provider must be notified due to COVID restrictions
Tropical Fruit World is a working farm, with some naturally uneven pathways and walking surfaces. Enclosed shoes are recommended

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

The experience runs in bad weather, wet weather ponchos are provided at a cost.

It's a great, laid back day out in a beautiful part of the world. The food on offer is incredible, the market is full of amazing fresh fruit and the tour is fantastic.

Fun, delicious and informative farm tour

We had a great day exploring Tropical fruit world. We thoroughly enjoyed starting the tour with a try of a delicious assortment of fruits grown on the property. Mr 3 loved the tractor ride and picking his own bananas from the tree. He also thoroughly enjoyed being able to feed the animals and have a relaxing boat ride! Overall, the day was incredible and a perfect experience for a family with two young ones!

Excellent tour and very informative. We loved the train ride through the plantation and our toddler son loved the fruit (especially the bananas) and petting the farm animals. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. An opportunity to try fruits you may not have been adventurous enough to try. Although it rained all day we still managed to experience the ride through the farm, stop and enjoy bananas and macadamia nuts. See and feed animals, go on a boat ride to the man made island to learn about bush tucker etc
