Explore the rainforest, rivers, waterfalls and gorges of the Illawarra Escarpment from the sky. Witness the infinite expanse of the Australian bush and discover the spectacular Carrington and Gerringong Falls as you tour the region in the comfort of a helicopter.
Take to the skies for an incredible helicopter flight over the Illawarra Escarpment. Minutes after take off, you'll track towards the mountain ranges. Turning south, continue to follow the rocky cliff edges of the Great Dividing Range towards Jamberoo mountain and the ancient aboriginal bushlands of Barren Grounds Nature Reserve. Flying over Cooks Nose walking track, next on the itinerary is the beautiful Gerringong Falls, a 180 metre vertical drop as the Gerringong Creek plummets over its cliff edge. As you follow the Upper Kangaroo Valley River, the valley closes in and terminates as a narrow gorge at Carrington Falls. The top is about 550 metres above sea level and the pool at the base is 90 metres below. From Carrington Falls, you will meander back towards base taking a diversion over Macquarie Pass National Park. As you fly overhead, just about visible beneath the rainforest is the tumbling Macquarie Rivulet. Then looking up, the whole of the Illawarra is laid out before you.

Spectators can watch you from the comfortable reception lounge overlooking the helipad. Tea and coffee facilities are available for all visitors.
