You are invited to travel some 15 nautical miles off the Fremantle coast to the unique and stunning island of Rottnest. Your vessel is a luxury appointed 12.5m Schionning catamaran equipped with water toys, a lowerable front ladder for easy access into the water, a luxuriously appointed lounged saloon, fully equipped galley, refrigerator and deep freeze with a chiller box in the cockpit deck for drinks.

Get ready drop anchor in one of the many picturesque bays to enable you to take every opportunity to enjoy our luxury catamaran - swim, kayak, SUP, recline in our cargo net or head for the reefs for a snorkel, or just snooze and relax onboard either in the comfortable trampolines up front between the hulls or on the lounged shaded rear deck. You are even welcome to take part in the sailing, raising, lowering and trimming sails or taking the helm! With morning tea supplied and a ploughman's lunch as well as tea and coffee (BYO additional drinks). Filtered water and sun lotion are readily available. We carry all crockery, cutlery and glasses for your needs.

Restrictions

A reasonable degree of fitness and mobility is required for boarding and moving around the boat, as well as accessing the toilet which is located down a small set of stairs. Children 1 - 4 years free of charge but please contact us as there may be a hire fee for life jackets.

Guidelines

  • A ploughmans lunch is served which includes a variety of meats, salads, cakes and other items. Guests are also welcome to bring thier own food items if they have specific requirements
  • Please advise us in advance of any serious allergies (i.e. anaphylaxis) that the crew need to be aware of
  • Please advise us of any injuries prior (e.g. broken wrist) as a doctors clearance may be required before boarding.

Once this experience has been confirmed changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

Late Arrivals

    Supplier Cancellation: Charter 1 reserves the right to reschedule tours where minimum numbers are not met or when unsafe weather conditions are forecast, or on the rare occasion of mechanical failure. We will always try to give you as much notice as possible. The final decision is at the discretion of the skipper on the day. If your tour is cancelled by Charter 1 due to inclement weather (which is at the sole discretion of Charter 1), we will work with you to find an alternate suitable date, or an alternative experience of at least equal value, or organise a refund.

    Numbers on the Day

    This cruise runs with group sizes up to 24 people. On rare occasions this number may be slightly higher.

    Weather

    Public departures are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers. The provider monitors expected conditions well in advance of each tour and charter and will always try to give you as much notice as possible if they deem it too risky to proceed, however the final decision is at the discretion of the skipper on the day. Unexpected weather changes can and do happen from time to time.

    Dress Code

    Casual attire. Sailing can be a windy and wet experience. It is advisable to bring a windcheater or spray jacket and / or a warm pullover. Shoes with a good grip and preferably a white or light-coloured sole are best. Bare feet on deck. Bring along your bathers, camera and a towel.

    Other Info

    Please note: Shoes are not allowed on deck,you are however welcome to wear them inside. Shorts or pants are the most comfortable option for sailing.
