Get ready for a fun-filled day of exploration as you journey to the iconic Rottnest Island, departing from Perth. Enjoy a scenic cruise over to the island, with a brief stop at Fremantle. After arriving on the island, meet the friendly crew to collect your bike for the day. Explore the island in the best and most environmentally friendly way possible, whilst partaking in a fun recreational activity for all ages. As Rottnest Island has no private vehicles, cycling is also one of the best modes of transport. To ride around the entire island (22 km) you would need between 3-5 hours, alternatively, there are shorter routes available. This tour is for the explorers offering flexibility and the freedom to wander at your own pace.

Indicative itinerary: 8:30am – Ferry departs Pier 3 Barrack St Jetty 9:35am – Arrive at Rottnest Island 9:50am – Collect bike from the crew as you disembark our vessel 4:15pm – Drop off bike hire to the crew as you board your return ferry 4:30pm – Ferry departs Rottnest Island 6:30pm – Ferry arrives Pier 3 Barrack St Jetty

Important information

  • The ferry journey from Perth to Rottnest Island takes 90 minutes each way
  • Please specify your departure from Perth and from Rottnest Island when booking
  • Your bike hire will include a helmet and lock
  • Bicycles must be collected on island by an adult 18 years or older
  • Hirers under the age of 18 must be accompanied at the time of bike hire by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or older
  • Bicycles must be returned to the crew on the return ferry journey
  • To hire children's bikes, multi-day hire or bike accessories, Pedal & Flipper is the operator’s trusted partner for electric bikes and kids bikes. You can also hire baby seats, child trailers and other mobility assistance equipment.
  • Return your bike to the crew on the 4:00pm return ferry, arriving back in Fremantle at approximately 4:35pm
  • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable footwear and swimwear.
