Departing Melbourne at 8am, enjoy a comfortable journey in air-conditioned transport as you travel towards Victoria’s stunning Surf Coast. Begin your adventure in Torquay with a complimentary beachside morning tea, marking the start of the world-famous Great Ocean Road. Stop at the iconic Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch for memorable photos and a quick visit to the beach. As the road winds along the coast, take in breathtaking panoramas with every turn offering spectacular ocean views.
Venture into the lush landscapes of Kennett River, where a stroll among sweetly scented eucalyptus trees offers the chance to spot native koalas and colourful parrots. Then, arrive in Apollo Bay for a relaxed lunch break (at your own expense) and some time to explore the charming coastal town and its sweeping beach.
As the tour continues into the breathtaking Port Campbell National Park, prepare to be captivated by the awe-inspiring sight of the 12 Apostles rising dramatically from the swirling waters of the Southern Ocean. For a different vantage point, take an optional scenic stroll to the Gibson Steps, where you can descend to the beach and stand at the base of the towering limestone cliffs. Conclude this unforgettable stretch with a visit to Loch Ard Gorge, where you’ll hear the haunting tale of a tragic shipwreck and explore the natural beauty shaped by centuries of wind and waves.
