This full day adventure tour in the hinterland consists of abseiling and jumping (optional) down secluded waterfalls, swimming in sparkling freshwater pools, scrambling over, around and under natural boulders and hiking through beautiful subtropical rainforest. No prior experience is necessary; once arriving at the location you'll receive all of the necessary safety equipment and training.
This experience provider operates with a leave no trace policy. They believe in protecting the amazing places we enjoy by providing a sustainable form of ecotourism.
This is a full day tour. Exact time depends on number of participants and abilities.
There are restrictions due to the size of our harnesses allowing a maximum waist diameter of 130cm and a minimum of 60cm.
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:
Minimum group size of 2. Maximum group size for public tours is 10. Corporate bookings larger than this can be accommodated.
You will get wet whether it rains or not. Tours run in light rain however they will be cancelled if any severe weather is predicted. In this case, the experience provider will contact you to reschedule.
You must wear enclosed shoes that you are willing to get wet (old sneakers are fine) and comfortable, quick drying clothing.
Please bring spare clothing and a towel for when you return to the vehicle, around 2L of water and any personal medication you may require e.g. asthma puffer, EpiPen etc. Please note that anything you bring with you canyoning may get wet.
