Experience the Blue Mountain's sheer sandstone cliffs, deep valley gorges, rivers, local flora and if you are lucky, maybe even a lyre bird or kangaroo… or both!

Your half day electric bike tour starts from the gorgeous village of Glenbrook, the gateway to the Blue Mountains - just a 45 minute train ride from Sydney's Central Station. Here you are met by a fully qualified guide and driven down into the Blue Mountains National Park. At the famous Euroka campground, you'll be fitted to a bike and helmet before being taken through the equipment, trails and adventure ahead. After some basic skills practice you'll set off along Mount Portal's single tracks, stopping at many breathtaking lookouts along the way. Your guide will share insightful knowledge on the area and give you ample opportunity for photos, drink and snack breaks. At the end of the adventure, you are returned back to Glenbrook where you can enjoy a yummy lunch or make your way on to your next destination via your car or train.

Session Length

  • This experience is approximately four in durations. They can run longer, so best to allow extra time to any schedule you are following
  • Ride times vary from 2-3 hours and is dependant on the group
  • Tours take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays
  • Private tours with five or more can be done on weekends
  • This experience is only available at 7:45am.

Guidelines

  • Riders must know how to ride a bike. Suitable for beginners (basic bike handling skills) to advanced riders
  • Minimum age is 12 years old
  • Participants must weigh less than 105kg to participate and be minimum 147cm or 4.9ft in height
  • Basic level of fitness is required. Bike has silent motor and is similar to walking
  • Photo ID is required (NSW law)
  • You will be required complete a medical form and to sign a disclaimer and terms of condition form prior to departure
  • Personal medicines must be carried at all times
  • Consumption of alcohol or smoking is strictly prohibited
  • Temperature, weather and conditions and any National Parks local alerts will be assessed closer to the day and you will be updated with any changes
  • A valid credit card is needed and details stored for security bike and gear. Nothing is charged to it unless bike is damaged or stolen
  • if the supplier has not contacted you directly about the booking, please contact the supplier

This products require minimum numbers for the service to run. Once booked, you can follow up with the operator as to your current ride status and/or options.

Cancellation

  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Minimum number of three riders for the day to go ahead. Riders do not need to be all one group, but can be three separate individuals booking. Maximum number of riders is seven per tour.

Weather

Weather will be looked at by the owner the day before the event. Tour will go ahead in normal rain and wind conditions. Dangerous weather will see the cancellation of the tour for that day for your safety. In the case, you will be contacted and rescheduled for a later date.

Dress Code

Clothing appropriate for the weather, sunglasses and closed shoes with grip for walking on loose rocky and sandy surfaces. No baggy long pants that may get caught in bike chain.

The experience takes place in the Glenbrook Precinct, Blue Mountains National Park.
