Heading to Port Douglas and short on time? Make the most of your stay with a guided tour of the region and tick off all the local attractions in one day.

“This experience is 100% worth it. If you only had 2 days in Port Douglas I would recommend spending one day on the reef and one day doing this tour. Pick up from my hotel with a small group (was 6 of us in total, 11max) with a great tour guide David. He made us all feel welcome.

“First stop was the beautiful Mossman Gorge followed by a picnic morning tea with local tea and coffee. Then off for a walk through the Daintree National Park and Cape Tribulation Beach.

“Lunch was at a beautiful restaurant. I had the local barramundi, it was fantastic. My afternoon was topped off with a croc cruise (we still saw two even though it is wet season and was raining).

“On the drive home, we had delicious local ice-cream with tropical fruit flavours. Super knowledgeable guide that was all too happy to let us dawdle when we wanted no being rushed to the next spot, the whole day was well timed getting to locations ahead of other bigger tours.

“You are well fed, it's a well spaced-out day, no boredom, and well-priced with comparable tours. I got to see everything I wanted, plus some more with that awesome local knowledge. I would go again.” Jo, 14/01/19.
