Immerse yourself in the Daintree rainforest for a full day of exploring everything it has to offer. With ferry rides, jungle surfing, lunch and even a swim, this day out in a world heritage listed area is one to remember forever!
Take a day out to enjoy and explore the stunning Daintree rainforest. Your day begins at 7am with a ferry trip to Cape Tribulation, and from here you can explore the Wet Tropics, a world heritage listed site, and take in the sights of the Coral Sea from Alexandra Range Lookout. You and your fellow explorers will spot native wildlife and take in the beauty of the the boardwalks while your expert guide leads the way.
Take it up a notch and strap in for a trip on the jungle surfing! Zip along above the forest floor and see the rainforest from a different angle. This part of the experience is optional, however, so if you'd prefer to keep your feet planted on the forest floor, you can spend the time exploring the beaches of Cape Tribulation instead.
Next up is a tasty lunch at a local cafe, followed by bio-organic ice cream, so you can keep your strength up! After lunch, you'll head back to the Daintree River for a wildlife cruise; you can expect to spot eagles, snakes and even crocodiles! Far away from the crocodile waters, and weather permitting, there is the option to take a cooling dip in the upper Mossman River, so make sure to pack your swimmers! After your swim, the experience provider will then drop you back at about 5:30pm to your accomodation in Port Douglas for a well earned rest!
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:
Minimum of 3 people needed for the tour to run. Max tour size is 11 people.
In the event of rain or inclement weather, your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. If the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, you will be rescheduled by the experience provider.
Please wear closed in shoes suitable for walking on uneven terrain. Also bring hat, sunglasses, long sleeved sun shirt, camera, swimmers and a towel.
The experience takes place in Daintree Rainforest, but you will be collected from Port Douglas.
