★★★★★ ★★★★★ Recommended weekend away Mary 12 May 2024 Weekend was amazing, dinner excellent. After dinner we went to our room, there was a live mouse in the small waste bin, it was very disturbing. We called reception, they came and disposed of it. I couldn't sleep as I am very frightened of mice. It spoiled the weekend. the next morning after breakfast, we checked out early and reported the incident to the front desk. The receptionist was very understanding and passed on our concerns to management. We received a call when we got home and as a good will gesture they didn't charge for the dinner. Although it happened to be unfortunate timing when the hot water had not been serviced in time, so we couldn't enjoy a hot shower or spa in the evening.
