This is your chance to test drive Yamaha's latest vehicle, the YXZ. Drive 12 laps with your instructor then take two hot laps as a passenger and let your driver show you what this beauty can really do. Get ready for the ride of your life!
It's time for you to drive Yamaha's latest four-wheel weapon- the Yamaha YXZ1000R. This 100% pure sports vehicle is one of a kind. Now its your turn to jump inside and go for a truly unique and exhilarating drive. It has a 998cc three-cylinder engine, five speed manual transmission, electronic power steering and a cockpit resembling that of a fighter jet. But be warned, the YXZ is not for the faint hearted! The YXZ has incredible shocks and suspension that make you feel comfortable and safe. You will drive 12 laps with an instructor at your side, and then later take two hot laps as a passenger that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat while your driver shows you just what this beast of a machine can do - you will never want the hot lap to end.
Maximum weight is for this experience is 130kg and maximum height is 201cm. A zero alcohol and drug policy for all drivers will be strictly adhered to.
There will be a maximum group size of 10 people.
Spectators are welcome with great viewing of the race track. You are able to stay with the participant right up until their drive. There is a safe environment for kids with plenty of space for them to run around.
In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. A text message will be sent to the person who booked the experience.
Please note you will get a little dusty with this experience – you will be supplied with overalls and helmet.
All drivers must be 16 years or older and all passengers must be 10 years or older. Photo packages are available for purchase on the day for $50. There are no canteen facilities available on site, so please feel free to bring your own food and drinks. There are no EFTPOS facilities on site due to no Internet coverage. So please bring cash on the day for any extra purchases.
