Be transported to a bygone age as you delve deep into the fascinating art of barrel-making at Yalumba's Cooperage, the only on-site winery Cooperage in Australia and one of five in the world. The tour begins with a short introduction of the winery and of the family owners, the Hill-Smiths. You'll enjoy a rare insight into the unique craft, a tradition that has been practiced at Yalumba for more than a century, and learn how their bespoke barrels add unique flavour, complexity and aroma to their wines.
