The water catchment for this canyon has long ago eroded in to the Wolgan Valley - only a small amount of water now flows through this spectacular slot canyon, making it perfect for winter adventures.
This expedition takes place to the north of Katoomba, where the canyons are narrower and the landscape is a sea of amazing rock pagoda formations, in the Gardens Of Stone National Park.
This trip features four exciting and unique abseils up to 25m. The highlight is the final abseil through a hole in the ground which takes us into a deep, dark slot. The canyon in this final section is simply spectacular!
It is a canyon that is not only physically challenging, but offers some great bushwalking in an area not often seen by visitors to the Blue Mountains!

Group sizes are approximately one instructor for every three or four participants.
Sometimes wet weather may require postponing, but remember the weather in the mountains can be very different to that in Sydney. Assume this experience will go ahead unless you have been contacted. If you have any concerns regarding the weather, please call the experience provider.
Please dress for a day outside in the mountains. Bring adequate sun protection, rain protection and warm layers- The weather in the Blue Mountains is dynamic and can change quickly so be prepared! Please keep cotton clothing to a minimum - If it gets wet it will make you extremely cold! Ideal clothing is quick drying synthetics or wool. If the weather is cold then thermal underlayers are highly recommended!
