Master the art of gin making during this masterclass at Wildflower Gin. Take a journey through the fascinating history of the spirit and learn about the botanicals they use, before putting your newfound knowledge to the test and making your own bespoke bottle of gin to take home.
Sure you love gin, but have you ever tried to make it before? Roll up your sleeves and get involved in this gin masterclass at Wildflower Gin, a small boutique distillery in the Gold Coast. Held over two hours, you will delve deep into the wonderful world of gin, learning about its history, the botanicals used and how Wildflower makes its gin. Then, it'll be your turn to play distiller, as you choose your own botanicals and create your own unique flavour. The gin will be distilled in the distillery's stunning 2.5 litre alembic copper still, and you'll leave with a 500ml bottle to take home. Throughout the session, you'll be sipping on their signature gin, which is a subtle balance of juniper, lemon myrtle and gentle hints of their backyard honey.
This experience is two hours in duration.
Participants must be 18 years old or over as this experience involves alcohol; photo ID may be required.
