Sure you love gin, but have you ever tried to make it before? Roll up your sleeves and get involved in this gin masterclass at Wildflower Gin, a small boutique distillery in the Gold Coast. Held over two hours, you will delve deep into the wonderful world of gin, learning about its history, the botanicals used and how Wildflower makes its gin. Then, it'll be your turn to play distiller, as you choose your own botanicals and create your own unique flavour. The gin will be distilled in the distillery's stunning 2.5 litre alembic copper still, and you'll leave with a 500ml bottle to take home. Throughout the session, you'll be sipping on their signature gin, which is a subtle balance of juniper, lemon myrtle and gentle hints of their backyard honey.

Gin Master Class was Fantastic!

We booked the Wildflower Gin Masterclass and had a great time. Edward took our class, he was extremely personable making our group feel welcomed and very knowledgeable. As someone who doesn’t drink Gin (bought as a present) I had a great time and was well supported by Edward throughout. My partner had a great time and we were both thrilled with what we ended up creating. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend to anyone.

So much fun

Not really a Gin drinker myself but my mum is. The drink on arrival was very nice and it turns out it’s Tonic I don’t like not Gin. Wildflower do have a nice Tonic. The staff were phenomenal, really engaging and very funny. Both mum and I enjoyed the Gin making process, learning the history and making and tasting our creation. The espresso martini is dead set the best i have ever had along with the honey pot too. Would absolutely recommend. Good for a mother daughter activity, a couples date night and there was even a group of work friends.

The wildflower distillery is like walking into artistic timewarp. Truely felt like we had escaped to a nostalgic hideaway far far away. The crew were amazing, witty funny and entertaining and thoroughly informative. This experience went above and beyond any expectation I had. It was a surprise birthday present for my partner. We both loved it so much and will definatley do it again. Came home with 2 amazing bottles of gin which we created with the guidance of our teacher Ed. Thanks Ed, Eve and Dylan for an amazing afternoon.

Learnt a lot about gin. Our host, Eve, was informative, funny, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and a great ambassador for Wildflower Gin. Between Eve and Dylan they made the afternoon something special for my wife and myself. I highly recommend this experience.
