★★★★★ ★★★★★ Poor communication from RedBalloon Murray 13 November 2021 RedBalloon states that the experience starts at 9am but RedCat expected us to be there 15 minutes early and we almost missed the boat out. They almost left without us as well because RedCat had not received a booking confirmation from RedBalloon to say that we were supposed to aboard. RedBalloon had processed the payment but it took over 24 hours for this to be communicated to RedCat. It was quite stressful and embarrassing as I had to send proof of my payment and a screenshot of the initial booking as I was also still waiting to receive a confirmation email from RedBalloon - all well holding up the other 30 people on the experience and trying to send it all before I lost service at sea. I was lucky that the crew member at RedCat were so understanding and did not make it seem like an inconvenience. Overall, I would not book through RedBalloon again unless I was booking weeks in advance. The RedCat experience itself was amazing and I highly recommend if you’re ever travelling to Airlie Beach.

Wasn't able to snorkel in the deeper part as i found it too scary but they took us to a lovely shallow near an island beach to see fish. Arriving at lookout at the perfect time for photos. Nice food. Such a great day i couldn't fault it at all. Excellent for couples or families or those looking for a beautiful adventure

Your experience depends on the crew members you have on the day. Communication once on the boat was extremely poor. Follow-up on an issue after the tour via the office admin was unhelpful and unfriendly, even though the follow-up resulted from their poor services and communication! Go figure! Snorkelling at Mantaray bay was excellent. Calm waters and so much marine life. The crew were legends! Genuinely good guys and alot of fun. We highly recommend this day trip.
