Get your dose of adrenaline during this white water rafting experience on the Tully River. Upon arrival, your guide will take you through a safety briefing and the paddling techniques to ensure you're well equipped for the wild adventure ahead. Once suited up, you'll take on the raging waters of the river for up to five hours, conquering three and four grade rapids that flow down an impressive gorge, nestled between World Heritage rainforest. After the adventure loaded with adrenaline, wind it down with a hearty pub dinner at the Feluga Hotel alongside your fellow rafters and guides.

Session Length

  • This experience is approximately twelve hours in duration
  • Commences at 10am


Not suitable for pregnant women. If you have a medical condition or are unsure that you are physically able to participate, you are advised to consult with your doctor.


  • Minimum age is 13 years. Participants under 18 years of age will need to have a medical waiver signed by their parent/guardian prior to travel
  • Prior to your rafting trip you will be required to complete a medical questionnaire and sign a liability waiver
  • You do not need to be able to swim to participate as you will be fitted with a life jacket before the tour
  • A moderate level of fitness is required


  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Maximum of seven participants plus your guide.


This tour is not ideal for spectators as you will only be able to see the start and the finish point.


In the event of flooding, the experience will not be able to operate on the Barron River but may be offered on an alternate river.

Dress Code

Swimwear, towel, change of dry clothes, secure footwear such as sand shoes or adventure sandals (no thongs), waterproof sunscreen, cap to wear under helmet (optional).

The experience takes place on the Tully River, located in Far North Queensland.
