Session Length

Please allow 2.5 hours for the duration of this experience, this includes some logistics and a briefing at the start.
Available seven days a week as long as minimum numbers are attained

Restrictions

Maximum weight limit of 130kg per person. Minimum age of 8 years of age. Kids under 16 years only $10. One $10 child with every paying adult. Adults with more than one child will be charged at the adult rate.

Cancellation

Changes to your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience will incur a $15 per person rebooking fee, this includes under 16's
Changes within 7 days of your experience will incur a $30 per person rebooking fee, tnhis includes under 16's
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

A minimum number of 6 participants is required to run this experience.

Weather

In the event of severe inclement weather this experience may be rescheduled. We do not cancel this experience if it is raining, it doesn't affect the activty at all.

Dress Code

Closed toe footwear is compulsory, you cannot wear sandals, thongs or bare feet. Please wear warm clothing in winter months, please do not wear cotton in winter as this can make you cold when wet. Synthetic materials and thermals work best. Please wear a few layers of warm clothing in winter and a waterproof jacket if you have one. We do not have a physical premises as such there are no changing or toilet facilities at this location. T-shirt and shorts are fine for warm summer months.

Other Info

The river is lower in summer months which makes the river more technical and the rapids smaller. For a wild ride come along in winter or spring! We have no control of the water level and as such the rapids may be bigger or smaller depending on the water level on any given day. The session length will vary depending on the river level and how many participants are in the group.

A scenic paddle with plenty of laughs and rapids

I took my three sons (aged 20, 17 and 7) and their cousin (16) for this great adventure. It was relatively low river level at the time, so the rapids and white water weren't particularly challenging nor fast, but it was a superb afternoon regardless. As well as paddling, the four boys got to swim, swing off ropes into the river, and had a hilarious time. My seven-year-old LOVED it! Also, Paul and Sandula were both excellent guides and very patient with less-experienced people in the group who paddled in circles and got their kayaks snagged on rocks. All up, an awesome way to spend an afternoon.

I honestly can't speak highly enough of this operator. I made the mistake of getting the start time confused, ended up running late, but Paul has been nothing but kind, supportive and professional. He waited for us, he was patient & accommodating, even in my panic over making such a massive mistake. He is a fantastic instructor, friendly, and really made the experience for us. He knows the river well and I felt safe throughout the whole experience. Thank you so much Paul, and many apologies again for my getting the time so wrong. You are amazing!

Got this experience as a Xmas gift for my partner & we loved it! Funniest bit for us was when Paul said we could jump out and swim to cool off if we wanted too: As soon as I got out then he jumped out & we both struggled to get back in the kayak but after some assistance we got back in ahah! Lots of fun!! Definitely need to have someone strong to row from behind as there's a few sharp turns to do otherwise you'll find yourself stuck on a rock like we did as we couldn't stop laughing. Thank you for the great time!!

What a fantastic experience! I went with my kids, 11-16 years older, and everyone loved it! The guys who ran it were fantastic, organised, friendly and patient. It was the first time we’d done it, and we were made to feel very safe. We would all definitely go again, the best fun, even when you’re no good at it!!

I will recommend it for a nice time by the river, Did it in summer and it was nice and refreshing but i guess in winter the falls will be more fun. Well organised and they thought of every thing.
